Ewin Expansion Pack

Introduction

The Ewin Expansion Pack allows slot-1 flashcart users to play GBA games hopefully quicker and easier than than it's main competitor, the EZ-Flash 3 in 1. Ewin mainly makes slot-2 carts and they have not yet made a slot-1 flashcart, but their slot-2 efforts were generally well-received and all-round good products, therefore I have high hopes for this!

Elink

Introduction

The Elink is one of the most recent forays back into the golden years of the Game Boy Advance. While most developers are working on their DS offerings the Elink is a standalone cart that tries to provide gamers, who may have missed out on the GBA years, a chance to catch up. This relatively new cart has the advantage of time and knowledge of the GBA scene up its sleeve. So does it take advantage of that or does it degenerate into a cart no better than something made four years ago? Read on to find out.

X-ROM 512Mbit Kit

Introduction

The X-ROM 512mbit Kit, currently retailing at $139.00 (£75/€113) available from easybuy2000.com, is a new addition to the ever-growing line of Game Boy® Advance flash linkers.

The X-ROM is fully GBA and GBA SP compatible and connects via USB, it is also USB powered so there is no need for an external power source.
The first thing you'll notice is the price of this flash cart, for a 512Mbit cart, it's much cheaper than the competition. So does it compare? That's what we're about to find out!
